Angels fans only! Who\'s the best Halo ever?
this web site did a great job of ranking the 100 best Angels of all-time...great reading, if you're a fan...
but I have one question...what exactly is a "win-share?" |

Best Angel ever, I'd go with GA, with the Kingfish and Percy close behind.
In terms of greatest player to Be an Angel, probably Nolan Ryan, though I don't really know anything about them pre '90 or so. Greatest Angel moment besides WS win, Abbot's no hitter. I was 8 at the time and it was probably the most amazing/inspirational thing I'd ever seen. |

I only remember Rod Carew when he was with the Angels. So I'm gonna say Rod Carew.
PS - Say goodnight Anaheim. |

Re: Angels fans only! Who\'s the best Halo ever?
Most of my Angel memories were from when I was younger hence Rod Carew, Brian Downing and Doug Dicenses were among the list. They probably aren't as good as I remember though. Nolan Ryan and Reggie Jackson are up there. I think best moments have got to be Abbott's NH, Witt's perfecto, and Scott Spezio in game 6.
