Great news for other valley teams though. I must say I am surprised by this. I figured if he left Creighton it would be for Iowa.

I'm sure the rest of the Valley is throwing a party. He's taking his whole coaching staff with him, and McKenna just took over at ISU, so basically the whole program has been gutted. I'm sure our recruiting class will fall apart because of this as well.

I can't really blame him for leaving for a job like Arkansas, which some people claim is a top 10 job. He'll have a chance to compete for a championship there. I know it wasn't about $$$.

I have no idea who Creighton is going to go after. This is a total shock.

They are speaking of my alma mater's search for a new basketball coach, which, no disrespect to Creighton faithful, made us look like a bunch of [censored] hayseeds settling for a mid-major coach again after stubbing our toe leaking word that we wanted Billy Gillespie and then Bill Self and then [censored] Tim Floyd.

I followed Creighton this year and am not unhappy with the pick though I wanted Winthrop coach Gregg Marshall if a mid-major chief was gonna be the man.

Christ, did my school's admin look like a bunch of tards during this search.

Gillespie should send Frank Broyles a nice Christmas card this year. We made him a very rich man; he played us like a [censored] fiddle.

Dear Illinois fans,
Coaches like to go to more prestigious programs given the opportunity and a good situation. Get over it.
