anyway, i expected a 56/40 to fire lots of barrels with nothing, hence the passive line, is it really bad?

Should raise the flop because hes not firing if you're calling down with nothing regardless but he might pay you nicely with a ten.

Bet the turn. [/ QUOTE ] What is your reasoning for this? My thinking is that since he is so loose and aggressive he will bet the turn himself if he has something he can call with. Since he checks, he probably has nothing and i want to let him catch up or let him bluff. I dont see him going for a turn checkraise. |

I think post flop looks gd against that specific guy on that board.
Pre you need to 4bet because your letting 2 guys behind you come in for a reasonable price an a 50/40 isnt gonna fold his AQ or 99 or whatever to a smallish 4bet. |
