Some river decisions? (shorthanded, 3 hands)
What do you do on these rivers?
All are .5/1 5max against the same lineup. Villain1 is LAGgy (61/14) with emphasis on loose. He's quite aggressive post, but I wouldn't say he's nuts. Villain2 is even looser and also aggressive. Villain3 is very loose and passive preflop though a bit more aggressive postflop (still on the passive side). Hand 1) Hero is CO with K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Preflop: 1 fold, Hero raises, Villain1 calls, SB folds, Villain2 calls Flop (6.5 SB): K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Villain2 checks, Hero bets, Villain1 calls, Villain2 calls. Turn (4.75 BB): 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Villain2 checks, Hero bets, Villain1 raises, Villain2 calls, Hero calls. River (10.75 BB): 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Villain2 checks, Hero checks, Villain1 bets, Villain2 folds, Hero? Hand 2) Hero is SB with K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Preflop: 1 fold, Villain2 calls, Villain3 calls, Hero calls, Villain1 checks. Flop (4 SB): K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Hero checks, Villain1 checks, Villain2 bets, Villain 3 folds, Hero calls, Villain1 calls. Eh, flop play might not have been too great, I'm not sure. Turn (3.5 BB): 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Hero checks, Villain1 checks, Villain2 bets, Hero raises, Villain1 folds, Villain2 calls. River (7.5 BB): J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Hero checks, Villain2 bets, Hero? Hand 3) 4-handed. Hero is SB with Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Villain 2 calls, Villain 3 calls, Hero calls, BB checks. Flop (4 SB): 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Hero bets, 3 calls. Turn (4 BB): 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Hero bets, Villain1 calls, Villain2 calls, Villain3 raises, Hero and the rest call. River (12 BB): 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Hero checks, Villain1 checks, Villain2 checks, Villain3 bets, Hero? Apologies for the multiple hand post, but as these were from the same session against the same players it seemed best to post them together. |

Re: Can you fold these rivers? (shorthanded, 3 hands)
I agree with BBB in that I dont think that any of those hands were a fold.
Your overall play also looked fine to me. Perhaps it may be worth your playing some FR (with lower variance) for a while to boost your confidence and bankroll ? |

I would bet the river in hand 2. And I don't fold any on the river.

Re: Can you fold these rivers? (shorthanded, 3 hands)
c/c in hand 2 is fine.
There is a lot of busted draws in his range that bets but dont calls. Besides, there is not a lot of value in betting. Super standard c/c IMO. Dont fold in hand 1 and 3. Combo draws is in their ranges. I know it sucks to call down TP to multiway turn raises. But in some spots you just have to grit your teeth and call. |

I'd call all three rivers, and probably expect to lose them all...
