AHK request: Alert when I'm up $X

Is it possible for a program to run a check of the cashier every 5 or so minutes to see if balance is $X above starting balance? Where user can set $X. thanks

Usually i just have my HUD show how much money im up or down at each table and add em up

The problem with something like this is it's going to get in your way. AFAIK, the way you would have to do it with AHK would be for it to pop up the lobby, click the cashier, read the cashier and then minimize it again. While it saves you the trouble of doing it yourself, it would probably be incredibly annoying.

Actually, I suppose with Roland's postres functions, you could get the information from the DB and skip all that nonsense. Maybe I'll do something like this on monday because I want something similar but for # of hands.

I'd like to see something like this, except instead of being alerted when I'm up a set amount, it alerts me when I'm down a certain amount. Basically a stop loss thing.

Is this possible? It could read from either PT or the account balance on the poker site, no preference. Probably easier to have it insync with PT so it works for every poker site. FWIW, I play on Party.

I just check my PT and shift the "day starts at" time so that it makes it a new session. This doesn't work if you play >2 sessions a day but you can always just add to the total you had at that point.

I do the same thing - just track day by day. When I start PT, I go right to Prefs tab, and set it for the specific date. I just usually set it for 6am, so I know if I am up or down for the day.

I know I can just simply look at PT to see how much I'm up or down. But I kind of would prefer not knowing exactly where I stand for the day, but if I'm down a certain amount I can be made aware and stop for the day.

It sounds a little strange I know, but I would just prefer it the way I described for personal reasons.

just set PT to display your current day, then periodically open it up to see where you're at.

I addressed that in my last post, I don't like checking where I'm at because it tends to affect my play.
