Three hands that hurt my session?
I played a 700 hand session across 4 tables at 6-max NLHE today and would like comments on the three hands that hurt my session (at different tables.) Still finished up on the session ending my recent slide.
Overall i was 20% VP$IP, PFR 9%, WtSD 32%, W$SD 63% Positionally I lost $ in the SB and UTG. I had been really trying keep my SB completion rate down as this has been a leak for me but as I look at the stats it was still my highest VP$IP spot...more work to do bb=big blind amount. HAND 1: the BTN just sat down (no info), BB has 2x the VP$IP of me. i have pkt AA first to act, I raise 10xbb, BTN calls, and BB calls. 3 players flop Q9T rainbow BB leads out w/ 2bb into 15bb pot I raise to 10bb BTN reraises to 30bb total BB calls I fold. the turn Q9T7 BB checks BTN moves in BB calls. river Q9T74 (no flush on board) BB shows Q6o, BTN shows K8o I feel like i lost some value on the hand but i felt beat. HAND 2 I have AJo in SB, its folded to BTN who limps. (BTN is 60 VP$IP w/ aggression factor on flop turn and river of 7, 6.5, and 5.5 respectively.) I raise to 5bb, SB folds BTN reraises to 12bb I call. 2 players. Flop 8TJ rainbow I check. BTN bets 33bb into 50bb pot, i call. Turn 8TJ4 four suites. I check BTN bets 100bb into 90bb pot and is all in, i call. River 8TJ49 BTN shows QJo for the strt. Comments? Hand 3 I have 44 in BB, SB just sat down and and lost first 2 hands, one w/ a bad beat. UTG limps BTN calls SB raises to 10bb I call. UTG folds BTN calls. 3 players. Flop 5T4 w/ 2 spades. SB leads out w/ 6bb into 15.5bb pot I minreraised to 12bb BTN and SB call. Turn 5T49 (now 3 spades) pot 52bb SB checks I check (fearing spades) BTN checks River 5T499 (still just 3 spades) pot 52bb SB checks I lead out w/ 100bb into 52bb pot BTN folds SB reraises all-in for ~100bb pot is now 350bb and I call. SB shows pkt 99. I was putting him on one of three things when i overbet the river, simply TILT, trapping a turned flush, or some kinda weird trip 9s. Thanks for your opinions. |
