Re: 33$ KK on a dry board
nope, call. if someone has a set good job to them, but this is like Qx and Qx so often. Also make it 140 pre, and on this flop 420.

Re: 33$ KK on a dry board
If Co is a solid winner he could have called your preflop raise with AQo+ or maybe AQs+, J's+ only. He smooth called so I'm guessing he doesn't have Q's+. You have pocket K's so he probably doesnt have K's. If he knows who you are he can smooth call your raise with A's hoping to extract more out of you. I'm guessing on the flop he has AQo or A's. BB could have pocket 7's,pocket 2's, AQo, KQo, KQs, QJs,Q10s. He might even have J's because some people won't even fold that on that kind of flop. I would usally bet around 400 on the flop.

Re: 33$ KK on a dry board
well if CO is a very solid reg its a clear fold. he shouldnt be calling PF with less than JJ+ which means we beat nothing. but if you mean he is just an okay winner everything changes. i dont think its a clear call but id probably call and it looks close

I think we see CO show up with AQ a lot here. If BB is good, I can find a fold. |

Re: 33$ KK on a dry board
BB check/calls AI - this is so strong. I think someone has AA or a set most of the time. I'm folding.
What did those guys have? |

Re: 33$ KK on a dry board
You need like 29% equity for this to breakeven.
In order to get ranges with 29% equity you need them to both have worse one pair hands in there ranges. Given reads I can find a fold. |

BB checks, then calls a large bet and push. Hrm. I can prob find a fold.

Re: 33$ KK on a dry board
I'd bet more on the flop against multiple villains - CO doesn't need a very strong hand to come over the top if he thinks you're weak enough to fold.
For me, it depends what BB would insta-call AI with - any reads? If hands like AQ/JJ are in his range after the call, I'd call. Otherwise I'd fold (or, more realistically, start telling myself off for calling as I clicked the button). |
