Default Splogs

I read an article, I will try to find it and link it, but this guy had 60,000 splogs making $10 a month off of each one. He just coppied other peoples content. He must have had some program to keep track off all of this. Some company has made a program that will search the web for people who have stole your content. It was pretty interesting.

There are programs that autocreate blogger accounts. I'd guess that's what he did.

There are plenty of autoblog programs out there. Many are free. They are also referred to as RSS aggregators. The problem is that many bloggers don't know how to adjust the settings for their feeds. It is important to select 'summary' when syndicating your feed. For some reason Wordpress chooses full text as the default setting. When you syndicate a feed you allow others to show it as long as they credit you. If you allow them access to the full text, then they have no reason to visit your site.
