I would bet/fold 7th, although I tend to do this too much. I don't see how checking could be too wrong, either. Both players were obviously drawing to a solid low, and you have a fairly rough eight. However, a lot of the cards they would need are dead, so I think you're often ahead here.

The question then, I guess, is whether either will call you with a 9 or 10 (or if seat 6 will call with an 8). At 2/4, I've seen people calling with those hands often enough that I think betting is probably the most profitable action.

I hate bet/fold because the pot is huge, however I think there is merit in doing so. I usualy c/c in this spot.

For some reason, I didn't think about how big the pot is. I guess getting a free showdown is prolly better than maybe extracting one more bet.

If you completely eliminated the bet-and-fold-to-a-raise line from your stud arsenal, you probably wouldn't be giving up much. Using it on this hand would be ridiculous.

Third, fine. Fourth, duh. Fifth is probably worth capping yourself. I won't harp on it because your cards are kinda dead. Sixth, duh. Seventh is a value-bet, I think. I think it's fairly likely that if either of the other guys had made a Seven, they'd have bet it. The pot's large, and they'll find a way to pay you off with almost any credible hand. If one of them check-raises you, well, he's earned it. Checking behind isn't the end of the world, though.
