Default Maybe I\'ll break hearts and be as fast as you.

Live 40-80.

Tight thinking player limps in MP. Older whinier tight guy limps right behind him, looser friendlier guy limps the hijack, and I raise the cutoff with As Ts. A blind calls and the limpers call.

Flop Td 8h 7d. Checked to the older whinier limper, who bets. Next guy folds, I raise, blind folds and the young tight guy immediately makes it 3 bets. Bettor calls immediately and I call, planning to pound the turn but reserving the right to give the very tight guy credit for a big hand and fold or get to showdown as cheaply as possible.

Turn Ah and the tight guy bets in tempo. Older tight guy calls and I raise.

Was there a better way to handle this situation?

uh, like cap the flop? Just call the turn with top 2 on a very drawy board? No. Nice hand.

So he's thinking, but otherwise pretty much awful right?

I like it, your hand is very vulnerable on the flop wait for a safe card.

I think i'd be raising a lot of turns. Maybe freeshowdowning some, maybe betting the river.

Fine because the turn came A hearts. But if it comes a brick i think raising the turn is major spewing.

If MP 3-bets the turn, are we folding the river UI (assuming it's HU)?

Joker --

I'd be tempted to. I'd default to yes.

All --

OK, OK, maybe there wasn't much of a tough decision here. That's what I wanted to check. Thanks for putting up with a less exciting thread.

I'd have just called the flop and raised the turn. Though the A may have killed the plan of someone betting into you.
