dont make a habbit of it, far from standard - I'll do it once in awhile against a regular for metagame but that's pretty much it

I'm not saying it's good, I'm just asking if it's better.

Villain is half-stacked here and we're ahead a majority of the time on this flop. OP took the line which gets the most money out of villain while still allowing himself to push rather than call AI.

I feel that in this situation, villain will be pushing over our bet with any pair and also a lot of other hands that we may have dominated.

oops, I thought this was NL$1k. Nevermind.

edit: so I sometimes bet/fold, sometimes check/fold.

Bet/call only applied as an option if it was 50bb deep. Obviously retarded here...

check/raising the flop may be a good line with AA if they always put you on AK.

with no reads, i don't like it. you're trying to fold any pocket pair here and unknowns aren't famous for that. Plus there are a ton of combo / pair draws out there.

against "solid" players, you maybe able to rep AA/KK and fold out the under pockets but that's only with a read.
