Reraise flop, or checkraise turn AI, as played, shove turn. He may have flopped a set on you, but most players would trap a flopped set here since he knows you either have a big hand, or will continue to bluff AK, AQ. My first instinct says he has QQ, JJ, or TT or some crazy bluff (~10% of the time), and was trying to take you off of an AK, AQ, hand. I think you're ahead more often than you're behind.

*grunch*

I like reraising on the flop. The problem is with his preflop raise from the button with only one caller in front of him his range is pretty wide. If you reraise on the flop I think it makes the hand easier to play, and I also think you may still have the best hand on the flop anyway.

Preflop is really really bad here and I'm not the one that is typically saying 3bet bigger. However, you really need to make it like $35-40 here preflop or just call (oh noes). 3betting the flop seems pretty terrible to me though. Its pretty tough to say if he'd play QQ like this although KK will show up here a lot. As played I shove the turn and feel ok, but not great about it.

Yeah, the preflop raise should be bigger. Why do you not like reraising villain's flop bet?

It allows him to get away from overpairs way too easily and puts you in a really bad spot if he decides to shove.

I guess I figured I'd check raise the turn and get him to put more money in. If he's behind, and I raise the flop, Id think a decent player will give up and fold. With how deep we both were, I knew the pot would get big, and no need to get it all in there preflop, or have him fold a second best hand that I could get value from. When he put out the big bet...(yeah, a little more than half the pot, I know)...it slowed me up a bit....I check shoved the turn.

push flop. i do not like calling and check/raising turn because if a king comes QQ is folding, but it has its merits if you think villain is a bluffer.
also, raise more pre.
