No reads. Pretty hard to give him a wide enough range.

Well, you can call vs AA/KK, QQ discounted by 50% and AKs discounted by 75%. Isn't that enough vs an unknown? Isn't it tough NOT having 41% eq with KK preflop? I agree his limp/4-bet seems awfully strong though.

Don't fold. I've seen people LR with QQ+, AKs. Every once in a while someone will have some crap like 77. This is a LRR, so its probably weighted more to the aces. But, if he did limp with QQ or AKs, isn't he going to 4 bet some of the time in this spot?

Ok lets see hhere. There is only one hand (AA)that dominates you.
If thats the case well your bound to lose. Just push pre-flop, and if he has aces, well pray for a king. Nobody is willing to lay down kings pre flop. Its really just not good play to me. |

You have less than a full buy in, and his raise is pretty large in relation to your three-bet, so I see a pretty decent chance that he has AKs and wants the pot right now. People make these moves with QQ or similar often enough that you can get it all in here.
Check/Raiser, it's not as simple as "I have KK, if he has AA, so be it". There are underlying factors involved, and situational laydowns that must be made. Granted, this probably isn't the spot for it, but you can find spots where folding KK pre is easily the right play. |
