Play better when drinking?

Anyone else experience this? Book huge wins when im drinking, when sober, im barely break-even. WHats up with that? Am i just a big alkie?

your more relaxed under influence, you might have a better focus (reads) and you have the guts to make moves at the right times?

i would not recomment drinking more then your allowed to drive a car.

just compare your drunk game to your sober game and see what comes up.

btw what is your samplesize?

sample size is the past 5 years. you are right about the focus though. I can almost see through the players cards when I have a good buzz.

i have that with weed bigtime, but you have to find a way to reach that level sober to.

i play better with a buzz but not wasted, i play well and have a brain still but go with my reads more and the ballsy plays

its easier to lose urself in the game when ur drinkin. especially online helping u play more of a touchy feely game as opposed to strictly odds. just make sure u know when to cut it off

I am a huge alkie which I am working on now.

When I am drinking I have a whole lot more focus but can only 1 table if I do more then I am a spewtard. As soon as I get smashed I am a spewtard period. I have 3 modes when I am drinking. buzzed-drunk-smashed When I am smashed I just spew all over the place which is why I play a ton of play money poker when I am drinking, mainly hu to make it fun.

My 3 biggest MTT cashes have been when I've been really REALLY drunk. It just seems I can focus on the table & I won't get bored....
