I'm going to be on the other side of the state near indiana, working as a sailing instructor, so I'll have weekends and after 2 off everyday. So I wouldnt mind driving the 3 or so hours to detroit or even to windsor to play

You may consider the casinos east of Chicago. I think there are a couple and they've been discussed in this forum before - do a search for something like Harrah's East Chicago.

Yeah, I'm not a huge fan of the riverboat casinos east of Chicago but they would probably only be an hour away so you could go after work or save a lot of time on the weekends.

I think Blue Chip just opened a poker room, which is in...Michigan City, Indiana? I don't know anything about it though since I've never been there. What games do you like to play? MGM doesn't have a poker room yet and I don't know when they're scheduled to open
