Folding a flush on da turn, $1/2
Less than 10 hands with villain but he has played none of them. I guess its come to this, my nittiness has stooped to a new level.

I'm willing to stack off here. If he's unknown and knowing that you (fgators) play nl 200 so [censored] much, I would say this guy is a donk.

Re: Folding a flush on da turn, $1/2
What do you put him on here that he would confidently practically double it? I don't understand why a set wouldn't just call or double the flop if hes into minraising.

QTs? Turn raise could easilly be a knee-jerk "hey! my hand just improved, I raise!" moment.
AQ w/ the Ad that decided to float the flop then improved? AdTx that just added the NFD? With no reads, hard to say whether he'd raise those preflop. |

Check raise turn to avoid freaking yourself out.
Check raise flop also. Check raise river for trrrrifecta. |

Re: Folding a flush on da turn, $1/2
READ THIS: You were right to fold this. You cant hope villain has a set/Q10 here and think you're ahead. If villain is slightly nitty, we are only ahead of about 3 hands: 66,44, and Q10 (he's obviously raising pre with 1010/QQ). We lose to any flush except 24s. Specifically, we lose to the following flushes: j9s, 87s, kjs, a2s, ajs,a7s, a8s, a9s, k8s, k9s, and god knows how many others. This is atleast 10 hands that dominate us, versus three that we beat, that are each drawing to a hell of alot more outs on the river than we are if we are behind. Not only this, but it is even more likely that we are beat by a flush when you look at the action,as opposed to a purely random-hand distribution standpoint.

I don't know if I make this fold, but I also don't see it as horrible.
Obv rep of the flush, if he has it you're drawing dead. |

Re: Folding a flush on da turn, $1/2
how many combos of flushes does he have to have to make folding correct? Messing around with poker stove makes me believe this fold might be really good. The bottom line is that if it is a mistake, it's def. not a very big one.

Re: Folding a flush on da turn, $1/2
looks like a standard "I HAS A FLUSH - I CALLS" type of spot.. But really, I don't see guys raising two pair or a set here very often at all. The fact that you lead again for near pot makes me feel even more comfortable folding to his raise.
