stop sucking at poker

3/6 may only be beatable for 5-9/hr but its beatable

live nl games are massively +EV

Yeah but you make an average of like 8$ per hour which is really crappy for poker.


Jamie Gold didnt sound this bad in this one. Admitting that he's not a pro and all.

Course ill never take his advices, but he doesnt ask them to ask him that... he has to answer something.



BTW OP, jamie gold actually says the CONTRARY of what you claimed in your post. He says and i quote: "my advice to a beginning player is... just dont talk" ... so you prob didnt even watch the whole video you linked... good job.

Yes, most live games are much softer than the same limit online. The problem with playing low limit live games is that tips and rake will destroy even the best player's winrate. The variance is also much higher and you play far fewer hands to boot. There's nothing worse than having to watch the donkey who just sucked out on you scooping a huge pot, and then only getting to play 20-30 hands per hour with him.
