Caesar\'s room rate work with tourneys?
Anyone know if tourney fees count toward requirement for getting the room rate at Caesar's in Vegas? Buddy and I want to stay there mid-week in June and we will play in some cash games but mostly will play in the noon and 7PM tourney.

Tourneys usually don't count towards any type of comps. Cash games is where their income mostly comes from, so thats where they comp from. I believe all Harrahs properties require live cash game play only for the rates.

How does the comp system at Caesars work? At some places, they swipe your card at the desk so you just do that and then play the tournament. Or, you can sit in a cash game, get your card swiped from that and then play the tournament on the clock.
For anyone flaming me for this post, I doubt the OP had to sign anything saying that comps are only for cash games.
