ATI Monitor drivers suddenly not working

I recently re-installed Windows 2000 on my laptop (Dell Latitude).
All was working well until yesterday.

Now, when i turn it on it won't bring up the ATI software claiming there is no ATI driver installed on the computer.
I have tried re-installing the ATI drivers a number of times. It just doesn't help.

Any ideas anyone?

uninstall the orig drivers first or call ATI support...only suggestion I have, sorry.

Uninstall and reinstall your display adapter under device manager as well.
