5/10 Stud 8 Hand. Flat call 5 streets. Donkish?

Dealt (36)5o in 3rd position. An ace in second position completes, I call. Bring-in with a 2 up calls.

4th street board is A8, (36)54, 23. Ace bets out. Should I raise here for value and to potentially force out the 23 low?
I played it slower and just called. BI folded.

5th street. Ace catches a 4, I pair my 6.
Bet/call.

6th streeth. Ace catches K, I catch a T.
Bet/call

River I pair my 3 for sixes up and call a bet.

Standard?

Raise fifth. Decent chance you get a fold here, and if you don't you can take the free card on sixth anyway.

3rd - Fine

4th - You have got a pretty darn good hand. Jack it up! Even if the guy does have something like A3 in the hole you still have a strong hand. And you dont want the 23 drawing easy because you most likely have him beat..so make him pay.

5th - Given the way you played 4th I would actually probably also raise here. You are definitly ahead of his range. I remember back in the PP days however if someone had an ACE in the door they would go apeshit with T9 underneath. Even if he does have aces plus an 8 draw you still are ahead!

6th - Fine given the way it played out

7th - At this point there is money in the pot, you have two pair. You are most likely getting a good enough price to call and hope he just had a low. Expect to be scooped a fair amoutn of the time though.

Did you misread it? Did I? lol

Just because out of all the stud8 hands I have played I have never seen anyone with a A84 bet into a 654 board and fold to a raise...ever.

I think there's no way he's folding on 5th with a84 to my 546 after he's been firing the whole way and the pot is pretty large. I agree though, it seems like an easy value raise/raise for a free 6th street.

If you want to call fourth to keep the other guy in, that's fine, but he might call two bets anyway. Only one way to find out. And definitely raise fifth.
