Default 100NL, playing AK OOP

Villian is 19.8/16.7/2.5
I've no specific reads on him but he seems to be solid. I usually reraise this pf but because I've some troubles playing AK OOP I took the more passive line this time. What do you think of the way I played this?

pf, I prefer a 3 bet.. but call isn't bad

flop is alright ..

why didn't you bet turn?

as played river gotta bet bigger .. you underrepped your hand and he'll look you up lighter .. but you didn't get as much value as you could have. $44-48 looks good

The reason I didn't bet the turn is for pot controll. I don't see him calling my rr on the flop what anything else then an ace. On the river I'm not sure if I have the best hand so I made a small value bet. Imo I can only beat Aq/A10 and I split for AK.

I don't c/r too often because I like to be the original raiser and having the initiative. I don't c/r bluffs either.
But if I did bet the turn what would you've done on the river if he called it?

I'd paorbably have taken it all the way on the river if he'd called a turn bet and pushed. It's hard to see how you're beat here, can you see him slowplaying somthing that much?

The reason I didn't bet the turn is for pot control.

[/ QUOTE ]

Squeeze preflop with CO open, button call.

And you threw pot control out the window when you c/r'd the flop. C/c'ing there is where pot control would begin.

When you make a play, try to be congruent with it. This statement I quoted does not line up with your play.

The river is ok, but you might be able to bet more.
