AK vs. Shove post-flop
Hey everyone, this is my first post. I'm fairly new to the game, I've only been playing for about a year with my friends. This was a live game, so I figured text was the best way to post. I was wondering how I played this hand, since it ended up in disaster.
Blinds are 100/200, antes of 25. I'm heads up with another player. I can't remember the exact chip stacks, but I had about 9000 and he had about 7500. I know the ratio of blinds/antes - stacks seems kind of weird, but three people had been eliminated in the last 3-4 hands. I'm in the bb with AKo. He raises four times the bb, I call. The flop comes A Q 7 rainbow. I bet about 3/4 of the pot, and he pushes. I'm really scared of two pair or a set, but I called. Thoughts? |

Alright, that's pretty much what I though.
He turned over Q10o and caught a 10 on the river, but I guess that's poker. |

Re: AK vs. Shove post-flop
He's heads up, what is he pushing that you're behind? He'd try to extract with AQ, or a set. There's a slim chance he has Q7, with that said this looks like a semi bluff with a single pair or weird draw. Call and cross your fingers he doesn't outdraw.
