Default 1/2 Live: I get to see one card? OK... now what does that mean?

Early morning live 1/2 game. Down to 5 handed and this one decent LAG on my left is very drunk, tilty but tightening up since spewing off a few buyins. I've got about 1k.

He's in BB with ~200. One limper. Button (decent LAG who covers the table) make it 12. I make it 35 from blinds with A9ss. (I don't play SH enough, is this standard or gross?)

BB calls. BTN calls. Flop is A35r. I cb 55, bb pushes, btn folds.

It's ~100 to win ~300. Not a terrible call, but I dunno, he's tightened up, and I cant think of anything I beat since I doubt he's calling with Ax.

He slurs, "I'll show you one..."

OK, I say.

He splays them out on the felt.

"Um, I'll see that one on the left."

He flips 5c.

Insta-call.

I play goot?

I wouldn't 3-bet light oop in live games unless you're playing vs nits. You will routinely get called multiway.

I never do this FR but we were short and I knew the BTN wasnt gonna risk a big pot without a real hand vs me. If bb folds he usually would have folded since I was playing v nitty at this point.

Is this stnd online 5 handed?

I'll do it once in a while, but certainly not standard.

Regarding rest of the hand:

Why do you think he's showing you one? It has to be either to get you to fold 'cause he's semi-bluffing, or to get you to call 'cause he's got a made hand.

If he has 54s he'll want FE and if you pick the 4 he's sure to think you will call.

If he has 55/A5s/35 he'll pull this move to maximize chances that KK/QQ/Ax will call.

This is all assuming he's thinking at all.

Rarely. Only if the btn has been stealing frequently do I come over the top with marginal holdings.

Live, I don't like your play at all as you will get called. Also fold to his push fish, you are soooo beat.

Who were the players? Names need ASAP? thnx bye.

BTN was C-face raising machine again. He bascially raises every button and I'd been letting him get away with it. This is essentially a bluff, I know, but I'd do the same with AT+ too right?

Pretty sure you dont know BB...goes by Missing Tooth online. Has a missing tooth ldo... (I like using ldo in every response to you now that I know you hate it, fnar).

Wolf: I doubted that he'd show me a five if he had a set. Also, the five elimated one of the major hands I'm drawing near dead against, 24.

My theory was that this narrowed his hand down to almost exactly 35 or 54. This tactic seems to say that doesnt want me to call, I think, so I doubt he has 55, and I dont see him coldcalling a reraise with A3 or A5. Crazy talk?
