Default The good old days

Not sure if this is the right forum but

Anyone else remember when watching the 50/100 no limit game on ub was the best game ever with mahatma? Everytime i logged onto UB to watch the high stakes, it was very exciting to watch him play.

Now there are 300/600 NL games and they seem just "normal" now whereas the 50-100 UB game was the game back then and this was probably just 1.5 years ago. Anyone else feel this way? I know stakes are way higher and the 300/600 NL games on FT have big pots but I enjoyed watching the 50-100 or 25-50 on ub than these FT games now.

Comments?

2 tables of 30-60 limit on PP...

I always thought about this too. I remember way back SR was talking in the chat about some 100/200 NL game he played on a casino boat and I was blown away, I wondered how such a game could exist. Or that Patri Friedman article.

I think SR was so fun to watch because he would just crush kids, the gap was a lot larger between him and his opponents I feel like, that's what I remember anyways.

It's probably just like drug tolerance though, you build up a tolerance to higher and higher stakes and it doesn't amuse you.
