30/15/1.5 over like 50 hands, hasn't done anything notably out of line.

I would cap this PF and then lead the flop HU against someone with these stats who hasn't done anything strange. Capping allows me to represent A and K holdings. This may get me a flop fold from him (I'm leading ANY board). As you played it, if nothing higher than a J falls, I call it down.

Capping 88 against button 3better. Are you a LAG?

What's the purpose of the flop donk? I think it is really bad and makes the hand a lot harder to play. Donk the turn if you fear not getting enough value from A high, but only if you can safely fold to a raise.

I don't know, flop donk is weirdish, if he has something like AK KQ I'm not letting him get a free card on me or represent a Jack without guts.
I really think I should have folded to the flop raise but I don't know. |

Ever heard of continuation bets? He is going to bet the flop 100% no matter what he holds.

Ever heard of continuation bets? He is going to bet the flop 100% no matter what he holds. edit: Happy birthday! [/ QUOTE ] Exactly why you cap PF and lead the flop, this is what is expected with BIG hands. Once he 3-bets me-he MAY have large pocket pairs--either he does or he doesn't. So I must represent the larger pairs until he let's me know I'm beat. He does that by raising the turn. But I can't show weakness because my hand is very likely the best hand PF AND on the flop, but is far less likely to hold up agains his PF 3-bet range. Either he folds on the turn, raises me and I fold, or he calls and I c/f the river to any card on the board higher than J. |

As played I would just check/raise the flop, lead the turn and see what happens. There is a good possibility this flop missed his range and you are still ahead. If the turn and river are fairly safe I would really like to see a showdown. But I don't think it's that bad when you fold the flop here, there is also a reasonable chance he has you beat. But I think going to showdown is a little bit better in this case.
