AQ TPTK - standard line: raise / call? 3-bet pre?
Villain is 33/10/1 over 42 hands.
I'd like answers for what line to take vs a more taggish player as well. Someone who is 20/17/4. I've been experimenting with a few things with AQo type hands in position. I think a 3-bet pre works well here. But regardless, when you hit your TPTK and OOP villain leads into the flop, what is the best line? Raise or Call? What if the board is rainbow vs 2-flush? I feel like a raise is better, but is it spew? If I just call the flop here, how can I fold on the turn? Single pairs are one of my biggest leaks according to PT, so I would appreciate some advice on how people go about handling them on semi-dry boards. Thanks. 3bet pre.
As played raise flop looks good I think. |

Some cbet% stats on villian would help.
Be the aggressor and raise the flop to $6. Make him rethink leading OOP. You are in a nice spot with what seems to be a typical cbet into you. |
