I would also bet the turn, it's fairly possible he's on a draw.

No clue what to do on the river.

His flop/turn combo seemed like air/something huge at the time which is why I checked. Looking back over the hand I agree I should of bet there.

What do you do when c/r'd though?

What do you on the river as played?

Paul

Against an unknown, I would probably muck it.

Problem is that your range, from his POV, has a TON of draws in it, and he could be c/ring as a bluff, to pick up a river bet, but at the same time, it's also a good line with a FH for the same reason.

It's either a bluff, or he has you beat. He's not playing QJ like this. When a totally unknown player makes a "nuts or bluff" bet like this, I usually give them credit for it.

The turn check is bad.

I would call the river. I think a worse Q is possible in this situation along with bluffs and AQ, QT, TT, 22.

Generally a nuts or air spot, except here I think that any Q can do this as well, including KQ and QJ, Q9 if villain ever has that though its doubtful. I also think more people will lead the turn with a big made hand than CR, and he might be bluffing you off what is usually a draw given how you played it... I don't think its THAT easy, but I'd call 100% here.

I think it's easier when you bet the turn.
