I don't think I like it - if I'm going to attempt a move like this from out of position, I like to have some chance at live cards... 24o is - well - pretty low on the list...

So a PF Fold would be better here, I think.

But assuming you came this far, I don't mind a C-bet on the flop, but I'd be folding if I met with any resistance. And I think a smaller bet (4500 = 1/2 pot) would be sufficient to learn what you want to learn - if they're folding, they'll fold for 4500. If they're raising, you're letting it go regardless. If they call - check/fold turn / re-evaluate.

Just my $0.02...

OT

Well the 6k would put him all in. He had like 5.8k left at the flop, so anything less would accomplish the same.

I do agree with the quality of the hand though, but its like my signature hand

How would your list look like with hands you'd do it with?

this might be something I'd try once in a while [based on your reads] if I also had position. I think being out of position, I'd like to stay out of MP2's way when he makes a raise. From the sounds of it, he hasn't been too active, correct? You have a healthy stack and I don't see the need to risk ~8k after a c-bet with this position and a hand like 24.

A move like this is so read dependent. Obviously creating a huge pot OOP against at least one opponent who is pot committed by calling is not advisable with 4,2o.

Lets assume some things:
MP2 is raising about 10%.
MP3 is calling your raise 100%.
MP2 is pushing top 4% after you raise, folding the rest. (scared tight donkey would I guess)
Since your hand is pretty much worthless you will continbet any flop when MP3 calls and MP2 folds, which will happen 60% of the time.
MP3 misses flop 2/3 of the time, and folds when he misses.
Your EV of the play:
(0,4*-3800)+(0,6*(0,67*5600+0,33*(-9770))=-1203.26
Ofcourse this assumes you have no equity when called on the flop, but I think this is not far enough from the truth to make it profitable.
Conclusion: dont get fancy just fold.

Not sure if I like it in a $3. I'd raise more pre-flop and as played bet less on the flop.

Having position here would suck even more obv since we wouldnt have the chance to bluff first.

Edited to say I'd like some feedback on my previous post, not sure if my reasoning is right.

I think it's fine. Like OT said, I'd prefer having a real hand here, but you were the one at the table. You were the one with the reads. For plays like this, I don't think anyone can tell you whether it was right or wrong; though it is obviously non-standard.
