I've been at the table for 10 hands, nothing much has happened. Villain is 29/6 over just 17 hands & hasn't done anything.

I think turn check is terrible, right?

Hmm ... I don't hate the turn check. I can't see us getting two more streets of value off a worse hand, and a lot of these guys will stab the river if the turn goes check/check. Obviously call the river.

Call river. You should probably bet the turn, although checking wasn't terrible.

Even if 29/6 over 17 hands means nothing, the guy is still going to have an overpair or some kind of small pair + draw on the turn a lot of the time and will probably pay me on one more street. Either way though, I got a 2nd street of value when he bet the river.

He had 43s for turned two-pair, so I missed getting his whole stack in this instance with my check-behind.
