Default SNGs at Artichoke Joes

Artichoke Joe's Casion, in San Bruno, CA (near San Francisco) just purchased a "Lightning Poker" electronic table. It's one of the new fancy ones where everything is done on a screen in front of you.

This is of note because, at present, they are running 34+6, 10 man, %60/%40 SNGs about once an hour, 24 hours a day (or so they claim).

I played in the second and third ones they ran (last night at 6pm and 7pm), and have to say that at least 5 or 6 players at my table didn't even know how to play no limit, let alone a SNG (Artichoke Joe's spreads only limit games otherwise).

The rake is high, but good grief the players were terrible. Godspeed.

You are going to 1 table sng's with almost 20% rake. Good luck.

The old Party $5+1's were still very beatable and I imagine these ones are quite a bit softer. Still, considering that round-trip tickets from Oakland to Las Vegas are running around $100 now, I see no reason any sane person has to play at AJ's. On the other hand, it would be nice to get in a game on that e-table before it gets repo'ed.
