Default A true noobie question about ONLINE, Help!

I have been playing online for about 1 year now. Have been doing everything wrong until a few months back, when I found(and started using this site). I see alot of posters posting stats such as "Villain is 24/22/1,5 39 hands". Where do these stats come from? Help me understand more about this.
I feel that my game is improving, but feel that I am driving w/o my headlights on at night w/o some of this software I read about I.E. pokertracker PAHUD?

Should I get this immediately?
I mainly play 10NL on 4 tables at a time.

Those are stats on: Preflop volunteerily entering the pot / preflop aggression / post flop aggression

They come from pokertracker....www.pokertracker.com.

The rest is up to you....

There was a post somewhere recently saying that the Pokertracker site was hacked so be careful. I am not sure if this was fixed yet.

Pokertracker and PAHud are definately worth getting if you are serious about learning poker and climbing the levels in online cash games.

PAHud overlays the numbers directly to the screen over each avatar that you have history on.

at NL10 there it will not be a great help. The way to beat that level is to play ABC poker tight aggresive works there. But as you climb up from 50NL onwards this becomes invaluable as you need to adjust your play as the sharks and fish start to meet.

By using PT and PAHud early you will get used to the terminology and numbers and also allow you to follow strategy/hand history posts on 2p2 forums.

good luck

Thanks E1 for all your help. I will definitely check this out then. Is it a user friendly system to use?

When you first get into it, it seems overwhelming and you think you will never get it or gain anything from it. After a while these tools are invaluable.
