8 handed.
I raise black TT utg. A guy who's been complaining all night about never hitting anything CC's. I havent seen him do anything aggro, but calls down with garbage like bottom pair on a regular basis. Blinds call. Flop is QcQs9c. I bet, he raises. Blinds fold, I call. Turn is an offsuit rag. This is a check/fold right? |

Yes. If he was a complete unknown I might donk/fold the turn, but I think you can safely fold here.

Why call flop raise? He's going to bet every turn lower than a nine if he has a nine. I think b/f flop or call down.

We're getting like 8.5:1 on the flop once he raises us. T is something like 23:1 and backdoor outs might make this 20:1?

This person would need to be a huge calling station before I would consider folding here. Seems like an easy call down.
Many players will raise with a 9 and slowplay a queen. |

I'm not convinced by his flop raise he has a Q. Wouldn't this be the type of player who waits until the turn or river to pull the trigger, especially since he's in position. If he C/R'd the flop, then I would understand, but I have to think that he would crawl into his shell and let everyone "bet his hand for him" then raise the turn or river based on the action, the stars, and his horiscope. If a turn over falls and he fires again, then I could see folding, but if a total blank hits, he may put you on AK and keep firing.
I would call flop and reevaluate the turn. I think I call down as played, but I always assume that if a crappy player raised the flop on a paired board, they don't have trips until otherwise noted. |
