Default Kings on A-high board give me headache

I'm playing TAG and villain is playing 21/17/3.5. No history between us. What is our plan?

EverestPoker Game #2245315127: Table Nassau-0 - $3.00/$6.00 - No Limit Hold'em - 12:04:10 - 2007/10/21
Seat 1: morpheo ($672.10)
Seat 2: Mr.Blueice ($594.00)
Seat 3: FLiST ($618.00)
Seat 4: Vanootje ($679.00)
Seat 5: Catalaga ($436.80)
Seat 6: HERO ($1,342.60)
Catalaga posts the small blind of $3.00
HERO posts the big blind of $6.00
The button is in seat #4
*** HOLE CARDS ***
Dealt to HERO[K [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]]
morpheo folds
Mr.Blueice folds
FLiST raises to $21.00
Vanootje folds
Catalaga folds
HERO raises to $72.00
FLiST calls $51.00
*** FLOP *** [3 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] J [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]]
HERO ?

standard is to check call once and then fold

Okay, but is that really profitable? Say his 3-betting calling range is: AK, AQs and TT+. We are only ahead of TT and QQ - which is 12 combos. It's 6 combos of AK, 3 of AA, 3 of JJ and 3 combos of AQs - which means it is 15 combos we are behind.

Yeah, after my calculation it seems reasonable to call once.

I play w/ the same stats as villain and I would say my 3-betting calling range is something like that against an unknown. Is that to tight?

If it were button vs blinds instead, I would give villain a wider range.

Isn't this really exploitable. Would you ever play an Ace like this?

Praetor, what's your 3-betting calling range against an 21/17 who neither 3-bet much or little?

thats not really relevant, because I play better than most people. most peoples calling range here is alot wider than 1010+ aq+ imo
