Satellite Shorty - Call AI with xx
13 left in a sat that pays 8 seats (but entry fee back to 14th - WOOT! [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]), I'm 13th with about .01% chance of folding my way in, having just lost a big flip for most of my chips, blinds are 1500/3000, I have about 3300 after paying the ante, I'm in the CO with xx. HJ with about 60k raises to 12k. Is this an ATC call given that I'll likely be heads up getting almost 3-1 on my money?

I don't call here with ATC. I'm assuming an ante of about 100 or 150 and your table is either 6 or 7 players. You are toast in the next BB so that leaves you 3 to 4 hands left. I will pick a hand with any pair, Ax, Kx, any paint, some suited and connected cards. If those don't come in the next hands, I just go into the BB and hope.
Look at it this way, it costs you an ante to see two more cards. There a 50% chance they will be in the top 50% of cards so why play rags here?
