I wouldn't take it personally. Lots of people in the past have been burned by 'lurkers' looking to make trades. Hell, it's even happened with people that have tons of posts. The post count thing is just a measure that some people feel comfortable with. Not only are people looking to avoid being scammed, but they also don't want to end up being tied to someone that could have possibly gained cash on one site through cheating or scamming and now looking to 'launder' the money through someone else's account and moving it to a new site where it's virtually clean. Just to be clear I'm not pointing a finger at you saying that's the case, I'm merely providing a valid explanation as to why people are weary of these things.

As a suggestion you could also look for a well-respected player that might be willing to be a middle-man if you lack the post count and everyone involved is comfortable with that type of arrangement but it doesn't account for everything that people try and avoid. Especially when the various E-wallets work fairly well for these things.

Isn't it possible to be burned by doing deals like this, if the guy're transferring with has a "dirty" account (e.g. for using a stolen credit card, chip dumping etc)? I've seen several accounts of this, most recently the whole cashman brian thing. I'd be very, very skeptical of doing this at all unless I really trusted the other person.

OP, this is in no way aimed at you whatsoever, in case you thought so.
