Default 4/8 NL TPMK 50 BB effective stacks

4/8 NL game online but it plays more like a live game with lots of calling OOP and limping.

Villain can be kind of stationy, also kind of spewy aggro, but isn't a full on moron by any means. He's just certainly not good.

I hold A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] T [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] on CO

Hero: 1100
SB: 400

Preflop: UTG folds, HJ calls 8, hero raises to 32, button folds, SB calls, BB folds, HJ folds.

Flop: A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Q [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 9 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
SB bets 22, Hero?

So this situation sums up very well how inexperienced i am with deep stacks. What should my line be?

I think flatting the flop will often make the turn a more difficult decision. I'd raise to around $80 and fold to a 3b. This is a perfect example of needing to find out where you're at before you get yourself in any more trouble on the latter streets.

Of course I don't dislike calling the 22 for pot control. Heck, the turn maybe a good card for you or whatever he decides to do maybe a bit of information on where he stands.

Seems like a pot control donk bet. Even if you raise to $80 on the flop and he 3b, you're still getting away fairly easily and cheaply for a game of this size.

Cool, i made it $88, he shoved, and i released. Was debating whether calling in position for pot control was better.

Great Vegas TRs.. Also, you're not deep here at all man, effective stacks are 50BB. This is a standard spot against a shorty.
