same villain. hes getting more aggro on the flop and preflop hes started to cap stuff like 69suited in position (multi way and HU)
what are peoples thoughts on river? could this be an expert bet/fold situation (expert considering he is spastic and folding w the best hand would be disastrous) b/c he prob never bluff raises here? i shuld note, he def. caps all flush draws on flop. Re: another SH
Value-check town. Check-call. If he's such a LAGtard he's prob popping you on turn with any A, and prob popping you again on flop or turn with any reasonable Q. JT is very much in his range as is any flush draw, so I understand why you like the bet-fold line, but I feel like these players will think, "Self, this is a great scare card because opp knows I play draws fast on flop and this river card hit both so OMG I bet" regardless of holding. The reason that I like check-call is that this villain is prob capable of taking this same line of thought into a bluff-raise play on river same spot, and if you bet-fold that's disastrous.
I generally love bet-folding the river on scare cards and even wrote an article about it, but in this spot I think the value-check is the best play. Devo |

Re: another SH
If he is spastic, how could he never bluff-raise the river?... esp if you say that its almost certain that with a flush the flop will get capped, then I think that IF the river gets raised, its quite likely, relatively, than its a bluff raise.
So, I like either C/C, or B/C, depending on how likely he is to bet when checked to. |
