What do you play? I would say the best limit games are at the Horseshoe, the best 1 2 NL games at the goldstrike and the best 2 5 NL games at the grand

Low limit craps, bj, poker, roulette? Need a little more specific about what you're looking for since you are in a "general gambling" forum

Also, you need to stay at the Goldstrike...hands down...good rates and right next door to the Horseshoe.

IMHO Shoe, Gold Strike, and The Grand are all pretty good. The first 2 are the best and right next to eachother. The thing I don't like about the Grand is more than likely if you stay there you will be in one of the hotels that you have to take a shuttle to get to your room.

Best buffet goes to the Shoe and they also hand out comps like nuffin. Their staff is also the best. The other two are pretty decent too. But the Grand is pretty tight about their comps.

Oh, Sam's Town is decent as well now that their room is non smoking.

Now that I think about it I agree with you. I like the plasmas better at the GS. 1-2 NL seems a little better as well.

The people at the Shoe are incredible. Always very nice and personable. If I had any complaints about the dealers at the Shoe is a couple of them are sweating their bets on the TV more than they're worried about dealing.

I Play in Tunica once sometimes twice a month. Need more info on what ur looking for. Traveling to play poker alone or will you have nonpoker playing compainons? 3/6, 4/8 or 1/2 NL??? Are you looking for a fast gambling table or something more straight forward? The most loose and passive games are at Hollywood, but the room is tiny, they only spread 3/6 and 1/2 and the comps and buffet are for shXt. Also when will you be traveling? During the week you can reserve a Poker Room Rate ($25-$30)almost anywhere pretty easily. On the weekend its tough. You had better call way in advance.

I agree with the above posters that you cant go wrong with the Goldstrike and Horseshoe. Both have very good games going most of the time. The gold strike has better low limit games and decent comps. The Shoe has a better buffet and food comps. They also have a food runner avalible if you dont want to leave the table.

Ive been clocking 1-1.5 BBPH at 3/6 to 20/40 for years down there. Theres always a diverse crowd and if not profitable our trips are always entertaining.

I'm looking for limit up to about 5/10 (hold'em and stud) and no limit up to 2-5. I'm also going with some people who don't play poker so is there anything else going on.....are the drinks free?

Drinks are free throughout the casino at the Horshoe, at least they were the last time I was there 8 months ago.
