If I want to valueshove, I think I'd prefer to bet small and hope he c/r bluffs me since his line looks airy.

i think i really like a bet of $200 and after i shoved i wished i had done that instead. he insta folded though so prob doesnt matter

my turn read was that he was bluffing actually so shove was really retarded. oh well

Check, you cannot beat anything he would call with. He either has a busted str8 or flush draw, lower pair or nothing. If you bet and get called you probably lost to some sort of kicker. So your risking your money to split the pot. If you had AK or AJ then yeah I could see possibly making the play if you were certain he would simply have Ace little.

nah the turn was just a "i think he was floating the flop" c/r and then he gave up on the river after his read changed

like i said i [censored] up by shoving but still, checking blows imo. i really like betting $150 or $200 so i can get some crying calls and desperation c/r bluffs
