NL100 FR : JJ vs a really awfull player with 200+ BB
Vilain is a pure fish. He has been lucky so far. He is 40/8/0.4 over about 100 hands with a went to SD of 35%. He can fold to a C-bet but never fold preflop. To give you an example of how fishy he was :
Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (10 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums) UTG+1 ($191.37) Hero ($178.83) MP1 ($20.50) MP2 ($48) MP3 ($119.70) CO ($52.95) Button ($141.85) SB ($132.62) BB ($149.25) UTG ($19) Preflop: Hero is UTG+2 with A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. Re: NL100 FR : JJ vs a really awfull player with 200+ BB
villain has less than pot left. it's more likely that he has a 5, 7, or 9 than a 3, so I would value push.
the oesd and gs the turn completed is more worrisome, since I'm sure 64 and 86 are in his range on the turn i'm pretty sure you make money pushing the river, given your read though |

[ QUOTE ]
I would bet for value, [/ QUOTE ] Push ? [ QUOTE ] bet more on turn and flop too [/ QUOTE ] I didn't want to feel commited on the turn and I don't like to play huge pots with JJ UI. Given the action preflop the pot seems huge for this hand on the flop. Was it so awfull to try to control the pot size ? |

Re: NL100 FR : JJ vs a really awfull player with 200+ BB
Easy push. And you shouldn't be worried about getting committed to the pot. As far as I'm concerned, the strength of your hand and the weakness of the opponent have already tied you on. What you need to worry about is tying the villain to the pot, which you need to do by betting more, probably on the turn.

I push here. He'll almost always pay off with any TP hand.

Re: NL100 FR : JJ vs a really awfull player with 200+ BB
Check is fine. You don't always suck out of river, and villain is dumb, but he does not always have a weak 2 pairs. If you always "value" bet by pushing all in on river, more than enough time villain would call with a set. And don't assume he is so dumb that he would never fold when the river paired up.
