MP is 34/14/3.25 and can't fold pre if he's put any $$ in the pot. CO is 18/16.

UTG proclivities is kinda important to the answer.

Im folding preflop as you dont know what UTG, or MP are still going to do. It would have been really bad if UTG had reraised all in and you would have had to fold. As for the flop, I would play it the same way you did against a player with those stats.

utg is 29/20/7. My line of thining with the cold call is that any hand utg or utg+1 now has to show their hand face up by reraising now if its TT+. That way I can get away from this fiasco preflop. I can't really isolate the shorty with an utg raise and mp still to act after me. I feel a fold is kind of weak vs a shortstack but I guess it might be necessary given the actions of the 2 b4 him. I didn't take the utg raisers stats into account when thinking either so thank you Kasane for pointing that out.
