25/50 Re-raised pot with AK
$4650 effective stacks.
We got in a little fight earlier in the blinds -- I raised, c bet, he raised the low double suited flop and I shoved. Pause time pre-flop seemed he was very strong He is 28/16/2.2 over 127 hands He ususally raises to $175 or $200 pre flop I have been playing very tight on this table. I haven't been out of line but have not shown down any hands. If you are thinking about what to do here, shouldnt you check the flop?

Re: 25/50 Re-raised pot with AK
this looks like a pretty easy call in an aggressive game
what happened when you shoved the earlier hand? if he folded i think it's even more of a call now |

If you are thinking about what to do here, shouldnt you check the flop? [/ QUOTE ] In tougher games, checking the flop may make your hand more transparent and make it less likely that you will get action. That said, I think I can find a fold, especially w/ the read given (you=tight, him = strong pause). -JP |

However he doesn't know me, I've been playin' tight, and his little pause pre-flop all combine to narrow his range to AK KK or AA, IMO. |

Re: 25/50 Re-raised pot with AK
looks like ez call to me, if he has AA or 77, w/e. but given whats been going on between u guys, and the texture of the board (he knows u can only call w/ aa/ak/77/22/kk) i would stick it in no prb

If we weight AA heavier or throw in 77 and 22, equity for AK drops to as little as 20%. |
