andyfox,

No clue other than it will probably be over par. I'm inclined to say well over par since I've been hearing stories for months now about how hard the course is going to play. Plus it has a history of playing difficult, but we'll see.

Too lazy to check but I would bet that Bodog would lay action on this over/under, wonder what it will come in at.

My guess is +3. Although I heard they did significantly reduce the length of the rough either today or yesterday.

My dad is gonna be a marshall at the 8th hole so if any of you guys see someone who likes like me only older you can say hi to the TV.

I guessed +5 to +7 Remember it is playing a par of 70, which is one less than it played in '73. So a score of +4 is like par back then. The course is tougher now too, not so much the length, but it will be playing much firmer with tougher rough. Really a tough course. The winning score could go higher, but I think somebody will shoot 287 or better. 288 instead of 280 could be par without anybody laughing, to the extent par matters etc....

Jim Rome was discussing that it was being predicted at +10. Pretty absurd if it turns out that way.

Yeah, Vijay said +10. Ogilvy said "many, many over par." The greens, apparently, are not as fast as they might have been, that might help.

My friend played Oakmont about a year ago. Now granted, he's no PGA Pro, but he is a scratch player. He said Oakmont destroyed him and was the hardest course he's ever played. Take it for what it's worth but he's played at most major courses.
