0.25 AAJx with flush draw, paired board
The villain had just sat down a few hands earlier and I had no stats on him. I had about the same size stack as Villian, roughly $23-$25.
I think I made mistakes throughout the hand. A preflop raise could have simplified things IMO. Pot Limit Omaha Ring game Blinds: $0.10/$0.25 9 players Converter Pre-flop: (9 players) hero is MP3 with UTG calls, UTG+1 calls, 2 folds, hero calls, CO folds, Button calls, SB calls, BB checks. Flop: ($1.5, 6 players) SB bets $1.45</font>, 3 folds, hero calls, Button folds. Turn: ($4.4, 2 players) SB bets $4.2</font>, hero calls. River: ($12.8, 2 players) SB bets $12.2</font>, hero ??? |

Re: 0.25 AAJx with flush draw, paired board
I hate chasing the flush draw on a paired board. Preflop raise it.

raise preflop, fold the turn.

Re: 0.25 AAJx with flush draw, paired board
Should I be raising preflop with a hand of this type in ANY position?
I've been limping my AAxx in EP, unless I was double suited or double paired. If I limp EP and get raised then I often reraise and pot bet all but the scariest flops. |

Re: 0.25 AAJx with flush draw, paired board
MP3 is not early position. Limping with unsuited or uncoordinated AA from early position is ok. If you only raise with AAxx preflop then limp re-raising is fine, but I would raise with a broad collection of hands preflop.
