whatever. people do that like all the time, it's probably happening right now while i type this. it's the easiest place in the world to get a free meal. the story wouldve been so much better if you wouldve walked back in and given the server $5-$10 or something although she probably only thought about it for like 10 seconds if that.

[/ QUOTE ] i don't think many people who don't play poker there just walk into commerce, sit down and order food. sure there are plenty of guys who walk over from the ll side, or guys who play there sometimes and swing by for free food when they're not playing, but it would surprise me if lots of random people in la made it a habit of driving to commerce for food. also, the reason he tipped a dollar stems from the original reason he tried this which is outlined in the op link at the top of the page.
