Default bb flop straight, on a 3 card flush board. multiway pot.

Its pretty much mandatory to call the preflop raise, because of pot odds. Once you get to the flop, how do you proceed?

tough spot with so many players. i would bet to find out where you stand, maybe 400.

So, checking here is out of the option? If I am planning on betting ~400 and willing to call a push, wouldn't check raising be a better play? Or is that giving up too much of an opportunity for a free turn card (possibly a diamond)?

bet 400 --> call a shove

if called on the flop you should shove any non diamond turn

Thanks for your input. I pretty much played it the way everyone suggested... except I bet less on the flop. Here is the result:

Your bet on the flop is really really really really really bad, as you give any diamond reasonably good odds to call (and they will). The call is fine on the flop, don't let it bother you that he had the flush.
