Frequent disconnections at Full Tilt on laptop
Lately when I play full tilt on my lap top it disconnects in the middle of hands to the point where it is costing me money.
Check this hand out. FullTiltPoker Game #1374818738: Table McDermit (6 max) - $0.10/$0.25 - No Limit Hold'em - 17:56:34 ET - 2006/12/08 Seat 1: Cobra Dance ($7.70) Seat 2: Guardian01 ($24.45) Seat 3: TrickPS ($15.10) Seat 5: mrpotto ($24.50) Seat 6: FrankieHummus ($25.65) Guardian01 posts the small blind of $0.10 TrickPS posts the big blind of $0.25 The button is in seat #1 *** HOLE CARDS *** Dealt to mrpotto [Kc Jd] mrpotto raises to $1 FrankieHummus folds Cobra Dance folds Guardian01 calls $0.90 TrickPS folds *** FLOP *** [9c 4h Tc] Guardian01 checks Guardian01 bets $1.50 mrpotto is sitting out mrpotto has returned mrpotto folds Uncalled bet of $1.50 returned to Guardian01 Guardian01 mucks Guardian01 wins the pot ($2.15) *** SUMMARY *** Total pot $2.25 | Rake $0.10 Board: [9c 4h Tc Qs] Seat 1: Cobra Dance (button) didn't bet (folded) Seat 2: Guardian01 (small blind) collected ($2.15), mucked Seat 3: TrickPS (big blind) folded before the Flop Seat 5: mrpotto folded on the Flop Seat 6: FrankieHummus didn't bet (folded) My connection came on just in time for me to see I turned the nuts and that my opponenet was betting into me. To no avail as I timed out and my hand was folded. Anyway is this issue different than the lag issue previously reported. Any idea why I might be disconnecting so frequently? I typically play 2 tables and have poker tracker running while playing. My internet connection is always in a minimum "very good" status through my provider, Comcast. Any advice w/b appreciated. Re: Frequent disconnections at Full Tilt on laptop
Is this happening every xx minutes? if so, you are having the same problem described in this thread. And so far there has not been an explanation for this. Full Tilt support wont / cant help you any further with that problem. Im still hoping someone can come up with a solution...

Re: Frequent disconnections at Full Tilt on laptop
I do have a wireless router. The problem does not occur on my desk top which is connected directly into the cable modem. A bit inconvenient at times to be confined to the room where my modem will consider it if it keeps costing me money.
