Why doesn't Party just absorb the Empire players into their site and remove the skin?

Different market perhaps.
Or perhaps there is a large enough player base on empire that they fear loosing a portion of it during a merger.

Or maybe they just want an excuse to give me more bonuses...who knows?

Party still hasn't compensated players who had empire points like they said they would.
