I Get Completed Tilted On New Sites
Does anyone else get tilted when they play a new site or even one that you havent played in awhile? AM I the only one? I tried CAKE and went on monkey tilt for no reason. Same thing happened when I recently went back to UB after not having played it in about a year.
Why do I tilt when I change sites? Does this happen to any of you? |

Re: I Get Completed Tilted On New Sites
I switched from FT to Stars and the HU games become horizontal instead of vertical and that sent me over the edge once and I intentionally blew a few buyins after a bad beat or two.
Dunno why I got so angry |

Re: I Get Completed Tilted On New Sites
Ya this happens. Totally different graphics, sounds, timings between bets/deals, betting styles (slider, bet % of pot buttons), ect... cause additional stimulation and distraction. All this confuses your senses, and makes you think that your opponents are doing different things than you're used to - so you do wacky stuff to combat this.
Just spend a little time on the micro or play money tables until you're a little more used to the site. |

Ive played like 400k hands on stars since April.
I tried FT and couldt stand it. I might not be able to play any other site now. |

Re: I Get Completed Tilted On New Sites
Yeah, i always think that the rega are trying to "outplay the new guy" which makes me do crazy bluffs and hero calls which are usually go wrong and then obviously ---> tilt.
i really should just play my usual style whenever i play (or even tighter, to adjust to different player) now since i understand it. |
