Sunglasses in the toilet...

so i'm at the local coffee shop/wne/whiskey bar the other day and i go to take a leak. Had a couple drinks and my shades are folded onto the collar of my shirt. somehow mid piss the shades take a tumble into the toilet. do i retrieve and wash or let them go?

relevant details:

-toilet is visibly clean, no visible fecal debrees, but it is a public toilet.

-I've had the shades for a couple of years and like'm. not expensive, maybe $40 or so, but good shades are hard to come by in my book.

-i don't plan on going home for a couple hours and the bathroom lacks the resources to properly clean the glasses.

So there is no soap in the bathroom? I guess if there was no soap I'd leave them. But if soap was available I'd probably suck it up and fish them out.

they fell midpiss, did you continue pissing on them?

just get them, wash your hands, wrap them in some paper towel, stick em in a bag from the store, and then clean thoroughly at home.

I throw out my [censored] underwear if I even dribble on it a little, so you know those sunglasses are only coming out of the urinal if I'm doing it to burn them later.

yes. like i said, i'd had a couple drinks, and really had to piss. when they fell i kinda chuckled at the site of my shades in the toilet, and finished the piss. damage was kinda done once they hit the water.

There was liquid soup, but its this hippy soap type stuff, not really heavy duty stuff.
